Our Pastor and His Family

On Sunday, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our pastor and his wife being at our church. We are extremely blessed to have them there! Pastor Miller is always cheerful and encouraging, and he works very hard. His wife, Miss Mildred, always takes time to talk to me and is so funny and friendly. She also works hard!

Because we don’t currently have a youth pastor, Pastor has been taking on much more responsibility, but he doesn’t let himself get overwhelmed. He teaches my Sunday school class and I always enjoy it. I remember being in Miss Mildred’s class when I was younger, and she was a wonderful teacher too.

One of the main reasons we joined our church is because of Pastor and his family. It is so evident how much they love the Lord. To be honest, I don’t know if that church would even still be there if it weren’t for them.

Quite a while ago, I wrote a post specifically about Pastor Miller, if you’d like to read it!

Just wanted to say that I greatly appreciate all that they do.

Do you have a pastor/pastor’s family that is a blessing?

I have a few pastor families that I’m grateful for. I’m thankful that as we have moved God has allowed me the opportunity to meet different people and see their love for Christ. ๐Ÿ™‚ So glad you and your family has this blessing in their commitment and love for Him.

  8. I have a pastor friend who is one of the most compassionate men I know. I worked with him in two different ministries. His wife shines in the role of a pastorโ€™s wife. I have been a pastor, and I support and pray for pastors because I know the load they carry.

    1. That’s great! Yes, being a pastor is probably a whole lot harder than it looks.
