Thanks so much to Amy Blount from A New Life for tagging me for this challenge! She has an amazing testimony and I know she’d love it if you checked out her blog.
I’m not normally one for tags, challenges, or awards, but I think this one is a good idea! Here are the rules:
- Thank the Selector
- Post 2 quotes for the dedicated topic of the day
- Select 3 bloggers to take part in “3.2.1 Quote Me”
- And give them a topic/word
Family is a perfect topic for this time of year. I have been realizing more and more all that my parents do for me, and just felt extremely thankful to God for the family he chose to put me in.
Family is like music, some high notes, some low notes, but always a beautiful song. – Jesse Joseph
This quote reminded me instantly of practicing for the Christmas program with my family the other day. We were all in my room, my older brother on guitar, my younger brother on ukulele, me on guitar and ukulele, my mom singing, and my dad working on my bathroom (which he is renovating 😊. He doesn’t sing). I just really enjoy playing with my family, because our vastly different personalities are reflected in our styles. We all play different things, but are able to come together and make some beautiful music.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! – Psalm 133:1, KJV
This verse reminds me of when any person in our home is really sad, angry, tired, or anything like that. It affects everyone else and we all pick up on that emotion. But when we are all getting along and happy, everyone feels happy! It is pleasant when we dwell in unity ☺
