Mysterious Ways

I wrote earlier this week on one of the best friendships ever recorded in history, David and Jonathan. But recently, I read a post by my best friend on her blog, Dancing with God, and realized that I have a friend who is a Jonathan to me. She is so loyal and sweet. Even though she lives hours away, we text each other pretty much every day. Other friends that I don’t see often say that they’ll text me, but stop after less than a month most of the time. But not her. It’s easy to come up with things to talk about. When we ask the other how her day was, we answer honestly. We talk about anything from crazy dreams to family ancestry. Another wonderful thing about her is that she is a Christian, so we can definitely talk about that. She also homeschools, dances, loves to read, loves her pets, and so many other things that I do as well.

In the post I mentioned above, she wrote about how I had helped her through the tough time she had with the transition of moving, homeschooling for the first time, and other things. I had no idea I was being a blessing to her; I needed someone to talk to as much as she did. I guess that just goes to show that many times, God can use us without us knowing it. He used her and me to be friends to each other. And many times, we may never know when we are being a blessing in someone’s life. We just have to try to be good examples as Christians and always kind, like Jesus. God can use us, but only if we let him.

Thanks for reading! Have you ever had a good friend like that? Has God ever used you as a blessing without you knowing it at first? Comment below; I look forward to hearing about it! God bless y’all, BBG

It’s always nice to talk about how God blesses us with the people in our life. I have met some friends over the years that were completely unexpected. I’ve been told by them on different occasions how I have been a blessing to them as well. The Lord is good and He is always at work ❀
