Thank you so much for the nomination, Lynn! Here are the rules of the award:

Now, I know that these award posts can be quite lengthy, so I’ll try to keep it short and sweet.

Here are Lynn’s questions and my replies.

• Where do you get inspiration from for your blog posts?

Honestly, I usually just open a new post and sit there thinking about what is going on in my life.

• Morning or night person?

Both! I like them equally for different reasons.

• Favorite Bible verse?

Psalm 108:13, “Through God we shall do valiantly, for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” I wrote a post about it here.

• When did you give your life to God?

I don’t remember how old I was, but I certainly remember what happened. I thought I was saved, but I wasn’t; I had just prayed a prayer before. I heard something about hell, and that really scared me. I talked with my mom for a while about it. I knew that Jesus loved me and had died for me, so I went in my room and shut the door. I prayed to God and asked him to forgive me for all my sins, the ones I had already done and hadn’t committed yet. I asked him to come into my heart and save me. And he did, PTL!

• Do you prefer a large family or a small one?

I guess a small one, because you really get to know your family members and bond closely.

• Favorite book and why?

I don’t have one! It’s so hard to pick just one favorite book, but you can read about some of my faves here.

• Who is your mentor?

My parents.

• If you were to eat one thing all your life, what would it be?

I don’t know! I love food very much, so it would be hard to give any of it up 😂

• What is that thing you can’t do without?

I’d be lost without my Bible.

• Introvert or extrovert?

Extrovert!

• Please offer a word of encouragement to your readers.

I was listening to a song by Jason Gray today that spoke to me. (I may share a more detailed post about this on Friday.) The song was “Remind Me Who I Am.” A lot of times, I only focus on the bad about myself, and forget that God loves me now. He loves me so much! I don’t have to be perfect for him to love me. He loves who I am, and who I am becoming.
