Finding the Beauty

We are in the middle of a cold snap! As I’ve said, I’m not really one for cold. When I go out to feed the chickens in the morning, I wear cuddle duds (long johns), pants, long sleeve shirt and jacket, bib overall snowpants, a thick coat, heavy boots, gloves, stocking cap, scarf, and I pull my hood up, and I’m still cold. Call me a wimp, but I really don’t like winter! We have snow, though not enough to go sledding or anything. Wouldn’t be any fun anyway. But those pictures I took one day reminded me that God created beauty for us in everything. A lot of times, we complain about how it’s too cold, too hot, too dry, too wet. But do we ever look at the good side? Rain can be beautiful. Snow can be beautiful. A desert can be beautiful. You just have to be willing to see. Look for the beauty in His creation, and you will find it.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: -Ecclesiastes 3:11a, KJV

Thanks for reading! Have you ever found the beauty in something that you at first grumbled about? Comment below! God bless y’all, BBG

Love the picture, what a beautiful view of God’s handiwork. I love what you wrote, people tend to be more concerned with our comfort than seeing beauty that is around us.
