God’s Plans

Today, we had planned to do a picture session of us kids, which in our family means getting out the camera equipment, putting nice clothes on, and trooping outside to some location, usually on our property. I thought today would be a good day for it, because it was supposed to be in the 60°s, which it is, but it’s also super windy and cloudy (obviously not ideal). I don’t know when we’ll have another chance to do it, as temps will drop and snow is expected Friday. I had my outfit out, and my mom even braided my hair last night so that it would be curly for the pictures. But God had a reason for sending us the poor picture weather. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that when our plans are ruined, but He doesn’t make mistakes and there are no coincidences. Maybe His reason was that we might do pictures in the snow, or maybe it was that I would have fallen in the creek if we had taken pics today 😂. No matter what the reason, I’ll try not to be upset that my plans were ruined and just listen to the Lord!

Here are some portraits from through the years… (Some more candid than others 😉)

These last few are portraits from this year.

Thanks for reading! Have you ever had your plans ruined, and later found out that it was a good thing? Comment below! God bless y’all, BBG

Your mother too. I love the pictures with her because her emotion is clearly seen, and it’s something not everyone has in their heart. You also have that same care.
