Yesterday, I had two teeth extracted so that I can get braces next month! Without getting those teeth removed, the braces wouldn’t have helped much because my jaw would be too crowded. There are some things in our lives that, if we want to change for the better, we have to get rid of them. Whatever those things may be, we have to extract them or there will be crowding in our lives. It may not be fun at first, like my teeth being pulled (and not being able to eat, drink, or talk very well afterwards) wasn’t a picnic, but it’ll be worth it in the end! I actually looked like I had a botox injection because of the anesthetic on my upper gums and lip. I saw myself in the mirror and started laughing, and then laughing harder because the laughter distorted my face! Here is a selfie from a while ago (definitely pre-botox!) that shows off my lovely, splotchy, crooked teeth. 😀
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. -Romans 12:2, KJV
Thanks for reading! Have you ever had braces? Comment below! God bless y’all, BBG
You are gorgeous and adorable already and will only be more so with straight teeth. More important, you are a lovely girl inside. I am so proud to be your mom. 🙂

Lovely girl indeed! I had all my wisdom taken out, and I wasn’t knocked out for it. The medicine helped me feel no pain, but afterward my face swelled up and I had to go to work the next day. My co workers asked me, “Did you get hit in the face?” Haha, it hurt and I had headaches with it, but that was all.
My husband got teeth extracted this past April, and he was mainly out of it most of the day, felt really loopy. Afterward, he had just a bit of pain for a couple of days, and then he was okay 🙂

I can relieve they soulmate knock you out for wisdom teeth! It is a weird feeling, like it’s going to start hurting any second and then the tooth is in the dentist’s hand, lol.

That was the smile that God gave you, and boy it does it glow with the spirit He gave you. The world tells us that if our teeth (or smile) doesn’t look the way we need it to look to conform or belong that it is wrong or unattractive (to the world). But I get wanting to have a healthy mouth and having no dental pain. God will love your smile no matter what it looks like! Even in braces, and the new smile that He will allow the braces to design. 🙂 I mean when I say… He loves you… no matter what! But from the glow you carry, I can tell you know that!
