Tonight, I’m going to my grandparents’ house by myself. Whenever they come, they like to take us kids for one on one time, and today and tomorrow will be my time. I love sitting and talking with Nana especially. She’s very wise and gives great advice. I love spending one on one time with her, and it should be the same with God. Spending time alone with Him, whether you’re praying, reading your Bible, or doing devotions, is very important. He can help us make right decisions during our days and provide comfort and right thoughts when we need it. The more time we spend with Him, we’ll draw closer to Him and feel His love and presence more deeply.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. -James 4:8a, KJV
Thanks for reading! Do you remember any adult in your life who gave good advice? Do you spend one on one time with God? Comment below! God bless y’all, BibleBloggerGirl

I love talking to my grandmas. Both of them each has their own story, and sitting with them reminds me of a more simpler time.
Something to consider if you’re interested. Interview one of your grandparents. Whether to share here their wisdom, or to keep for yourself. Have questions you would like answered. About God. About life. Their life, how they grew up. Some of them you may already them, maybe you haven’t gotten the full story yet. π I did this for both of my grandmas different years (school assignment) but I’m glad I did. It really spoke to me.

You are welcome π yeah, I just thought of when I did the interviews from reading your posts. So your post helped me think, “Hey, she might like this.”
Your parents, as well, might be good interviewees. You could compare and contrast everyone’s stories and advice. π If you wanted to, of course.
