Gratitude for Parents

Philippians 1:3-4: I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy.

Okaaay, I’m pretty tired, so this post will be short. My dad and I share a foot problem to where we need a lot of arch support or else it HURTS. So, a while ago we had gone to a shoe store and gotten some arch supporting inserts, but they didn’t fit my old sneakers. Today, we returned to the store and got some awesome sneakers with their own arch support, so putting the inserts in there feels amazing. The catch is that the dang shoes were $120!! He still bought them, though, because he knows what it feels like and he didn’t have any nice shoes till he was in his twenties and the problem was worse. In conclusion, let’s all appreciate the parents or parental figures in our lives for all the things that they do for us! Also, try to pay closer attention to the little things you may not have noticed before, and take time to appreciate them.

As always, thanks for reading! I love getting your comments, so please tell me about a similar experience you had with your parents!

God bless, Biblebloggergirl
Here are my shoes and inserts. I will treat them like gold šŸ˜‹.

I love the color of your sneakers! Very bright and happy! In my second blog Peeking Beneath, I have a post about this. My dad likes to drive, and when I was young, I remember him picking me from preschool, and off we would go.

The full post is here, if you are interested : ) But no pressure to read. https://peekingfrombeneaththerock.wordpress.com/2017/04/19/memory-lane-driving-with-dad/
